Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm Tiffany, a trauma RN turned feline enthusiast, living in the beautiful Northern Pennsylvania mountains with my husband and our two kids. Together, we share a passion for Maine Coons and gardening, while our family of beekeepers keeps our garden flourishing and our honey jars full. Tassel Tale Maine Coons, nestled in the scenic Pennsylvania mountains, is dedicated to breeding Maine Coon kittens, the epitome of feline elegance and grace. Our goal is to provide exquisite Maine Coons that adhere to the European standard, ensuring our kittens sport the iconic tasseled lynx-like ears and impressive muzzle. With a focus on genetic health, friendly temperament, and breed standards, we aim to match our majestic cats with loving homes for a lifetime of feline bliss.

Welcome to our FIV/FELV cattery, where the health and well-being of our breeding cats come first. We perform thorough health testing, which includes hip radiology, cardio echograms, and DNA testing for 56 breed-specific genetic markers. Additionally, our routine care encompasses vaccinations, respiratory panels, and fecal tests for parasites, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our cats. We invite you to join us in our dedication to responsible breeding and the health of our beloved feline companions.

What Comes With My Kitten?

Bringing a new kitten into your home is such an exciting and heartwarming moment! It’s natural to have a few questions as you get ready for this big step, and we’re here to make sure you and your new furry friend have the smoothest, happiest start together.

At Tassel Tale Maine Coon, we take extra care to ensure every kitten is ready to become your perfect companion. Before they snuggle up on your couch or pounce on their first toy, they’ve already been lovingly cared for, given top-notch veterinary attention, and provided with everything they need to feel safe and secure.

Here’s a look at all the ways we’ve got your kitten (and you!) covered as they start their new adventure with your family.

Heath and Genetic Testing

All are breeding cats are genetically tested for 56 diseases, hips x-rayed for dysplasia and have had a echocardiogram to rule out cardiac disease. Kittens are vet cleared at 10 weeks old, vaccinated with rabies and FVRP, FIV/FELV negative, and dewormed before their arrival.

Go Home bag made specially for you

Each go home bag contains a folder with vet record, nanochip number, pedigree, a free bag of Nulo kitten food, cans of Instinct wet food, Dr. Elsey's litter attract, toys, feather wands and more. All to make the trasition easier for you and your new kitten!

Certified pedigree and registration

Each litter and subsequent adopted kitten is registered with TICA and can be verified for potential buyers. Once full payment has been made the registration is transferred to new owner and their preferred name for their Maine Coon can be changed if desired.
